Where we ship
We ship to all 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Shipping costs
- Free shipping on orders of $50 or more (before tax).
- $9.99 flat rate on orders under $50.
- Some bundles, such as The Sourdough Sampler, always ship free. The shipping cost for your order is shown in the cart and at checkout before you pay.
- Subscription orders follow the same shipping rates.
Processing time
Our bread, bagels and biscotti are baked in small batches in Frederick, Maryland. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or major holidays.
Carriers and delivery times
- Most orders ship by UPS Ground, usually arriving in 1–5 business days.
- Orders to western and distant states (such as California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Alaska and Hawaii) usually ship by FedEx 2Day so they arrive fresh.
- Orders to PO Boxes ship by USPS, which may take longer.
Delivery times are estimates from the carrier and are not guaranteed. Weather, holidays and carrier delays can affect delivery.
Tracking your order
Once your order ships, we will email you a tracking number. You can also view your order status in My Account.
When your order arrives
Please open your package promptly. For the best freshness, freeze bread and bagels on arrival and thaw or toast slices as needed.
Local pickup
You can pick up orders at our bakery at 7309 Grove Road, Suite D, Frederick, MD 21704 (9 a.m.–4 p.m.), or at the farmers markets we attend in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania.
Damaged, spoiled or lost packages
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us within 7 days of the delivery or expected delivery date. See our Refund and Returns Policy.
