Grilled Cheese sandwiches have always been one of my favorite comfort foods. This recipe is perfect for anyone on a low carb or keto diet. The crispy low carb bread, creamy melted cheese, and tangy pesto sauce really solidify this recipe’s place in our grilled cheese hall of fame!
1 tsp softened butter
2 slices LowCarb Avenue Plain Bread
1 tsp pesto sauce
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Spread the butter on the outside of the 2 slices of bread and spread the pesto on the inside of the slices of bread
Next, add the cheese to the pesto side of one of the slices of bread and place the other slice, pesto side down on top to make the sandwich.
Gently fry on a skillet, flip once, about 5 minutes per side, until both sides are golden brown and cheese has melted!
