French Toast Recipe is traditionally made with french bread which has a lot of substance to it but the problem with a lot of low carb breads is that they don’t have much substance and they flatten in your mouth. But not our bread! LowCarb Avenue’s keto bread makes the most delicious and filling Keto French Toast Recipe. This recipe pairs well with some freshly sliced berries and a cup of coffee.
1 tsp softened butter
2 slices LowCarb Avenue Plain Bread
1 tbsp half and half
1 Egg
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Whisk an egg, half and half, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg in a bowl.
Heat up a skillet to medium heat and lightly butter the skillet.
Step 3
Dunk the breads in the mixture and gently fry them on the skillet, about 4 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Serve hot! Top with butter, low carb syrup, or berries!
